About me 

I am a systemic therapist and sex therapist working with individuals, couples and families.

For me, therapy means building acceptance and trust - in our relationships, in ourselves, but also between counsellor and client. Only then there can be room for change: developing new perspectives, working on your communication, re-discovering your strengths, searching for more meaning in life or embracing and expressing your own sexuality. 

As sex therapist I work with individuals and couples who struggle with

lack of interest in sex, desire discrepancy, infidelity, non-monogamy, sex addiction, erectile dysfunction, pain during sex or orgasm difficulties.

I work both dialogue-based and with creative methods like constellations (systemische Aufstellungen) - in German, English and Finnish. I enjoy working with clients of diverse backgrounds including gender, sexual orientation and preference, culture and religion.

I currently work as a counsellor for couples, families and separated parents in a public family counselling center in Berlin. My emphasis there is on crisis management and communication in conflict situations. I receive private clients part-time and offer further education in systemic approach for professionals.

Since seeking help is a big step for most people, I like to have a short chat with my clients by e-mail or on the phone to get the first impression of each other and see, if I can be helpful in their situation. Therapy sessions for individuals cost 90 euros for 50 minutes and for couples 150 euros for 90 minutes.

Qualifications and experience

• Systemic Therapist for Individuals, Couples and Families (recognized by Systemic Society SG and Berliner Psychotherapeutenkammer)
• Master of Social Sciences (in Communication) at University of Helsinki
• Systemic Sex Therapist (in Training)
• Further training in e.g. systemische Aufstellungsarbeit, solution-focused and narrative therapy
• Counsellor in a public family counselling center in Berlin-Tempelhof
• Teacher for further education in systemic approach for professionals (e.g. for JOBLINGE gAG,  Internationale Berufsakademie iba, Gilberto-Bosques-Volkshochschule, Casablanca gGmbH)
• Private practitioner
